Journal Entry: My Album of Faith

This morning, as sunlight crept in quietly, I reached for the album that always finds me when my spirit needs a gentle nudge. It’s become more than music—it’s my faithful friend and silent mentor through every season. Its harmonies ask me to pause, and remind me that God is present in both the quiet victories and the aching questions.

I remember one particular song from the album—its lyrics mirror the words scribbled across many pages in my faith journal. It speaks of surrender and hope, two themes that are deeply woven into my walk with God. On days when uncertainty clouds my mind, listening feels like opening my heart to prayer. Sometimes, the melody is my peace; other times, it becomes the echo of a question I’m asking above all else: “Am I truly seen by God?”

As I listen, my pen moves across the page:

  • What am I grateful for today?
  • Where did I feel God’s love in interruptions and routine?
  • What fears still echo, and how might grace speak into them?

Faith isn’t always linear. This album, with each song, helps me track the subtle ways God draws me back—reminding me I am held, lifted, and loved, even when I feel small. Its message finds me in broken moments and in those rare surges of joy, capturing how my faith journey is alive, changing, and deeply personal.

When I turn off the music and close my journal, there’s always one lingering note: every prayer, every struggle, every hopeful line is making me who I’m meant to be.
